A BAD TRANSLATION?

He encontrado este pequeño recorte en el que la prensa española hace una ¿mala? interpretación de un artículo aparecido en el New York Times.
Do you think it is a good or a bad translation?

THE STORY OF EVERYONE, SOMEONE, ANYONE AND NO-ONE

There was an important job to be done and Everyone was sure that Someone would do it.
Anyone  could have done it, but No-one did it.
Someone got angry about that because he thought that it was Everyone’s job.
Everyone thought that Anyone could do it, but No-one realised that Everyone wouldn’t do it.
It ended up that Everyone was angry with Someone because No-one did what Anyone could have done!

This is a different way to explain and understand indefinite pronouns. Here you will find some grammar notes if you prefer a traditional explanation.

WRITING A GUIDED POEM

You can write a five-line poem easily. Just follow these instructions.

1. On the first line write a noun of your choice
2. On the second line write two adjectives joined by and to describe this noun
3. On the third line write a verb and an adverb to describe this noun in action
4. Start the fourth line with like or as followed by a comparison
5. Start the final line with if only followed by a wish

Below there are two examples of such poems

Home
Warm and Sweet
Keeping me safe
Like fire in a cold snowed day
If only I could be there forever

Pain
Scary and horrible
Hurting quickly your hearth
Like claws in your arms
If only pain doesn't exist

Utilizamos los intensificadores (+ + +) para añadir fuerza, para intensificar el significado de los adjetivos.
Por otra parte, podemos utilizar lo que conocemos como mitigadores (+/++)  para reducir, disminuir o moderar el significado del adjetivo al que se refieren.
